Healthy recipes for all.
Good Food has been the home cooks’ choice for over 35 years. It’s the UK’s most popular food media brand with goodfood.com reaching over 50 million users.
The objective was to redesign the user interface, aiming to enhance usability, improve visual appeal and boost the overall user experience.
Some of the website problems are:
Takes too long to scroll
Not enough contrast and use of blank spaces
Inconsistent UI design
Mention of the app in a tiny space at the bottom of the page
The footer has the list of recipes, which is really long
I made a low fidelity wireframe to guide me, making the sections and UI elements bigger but, after removing and collapsing some of them, it takes less to scroll to the bottom and makes it easier to read, keeping in mind that some users may be senior people.
I changed the colour palette for a fresh look and kept the typography while giving it more contrast to rejuvenate the design.
The redesigned Good Food landing page resulted in a more user-friendly and visually appealing web that enhanced the experience for visitors.
