Apolo is a ticket purchase app for all kind of events (festivals, museums, sport matches...), with a visual identity that makes it comfortable and easy to navigate through.
It can get confusing sometimes to buy a ticket for an event. Too many places to buy them and some of them can be a scam. To address this problem, Apolo was designed to take into consideration the user’s need of a trustworthy app to explore and buy tickets fast in a reliable way.
The app is named after Apollo, greek god of knowledge, archery, music and arts among other things.
The isotype visualizes an arrowhead and a ticket hole to represent the god and the purpose of the app while at the same time looks like an "a".
A minimalist palette and typography with good contrast was used to help create a modern look and to give a unique personality to the brand.
With a mobile-first approach, I designed using a 4 column grid system.
This, combined with the UI elements, helped to create an exceptional user experience as it ensured consistency of design.
The clear and organized sitemap gives an easy and intuitive app navigation, leading to a stellar user experience.
